Blackwater

Thirteen-year-old Brodie's summer plans are spoiled when his younger cousin, Alex, comes to visit. Although Alex can be a pain, Brodie vows to make the best of his summer and teaches Alex how to swim in the Blackwater River. Everything is fine until Brodie sees Pauline, his crush, with another boy from school. As his anger builds, he storms up the hill and surprises them, but the result is tragedy--Pauline and the boy fall to their deaths. Brodie makes an attempt to save them, but all is lost.
